Known to the casinos as "The Darling of Las Vegas," Semyon Dukach was a notorious player on the MIT Strategic Investments Blackjack Team, as well as a founder and president of the MIT Amphibian Investments Teams.
Banned from the casinos for all of his winning, he has trained and mentored dozens of successful MIT Blackjack Team players, as well as some of the great blackjack players who are playing today.
Dukach has a B.S. from Columbia and an M.S. from MIT. He was the founder and CEO of Fast Engings, founder of Vert, Inc., and a CEO mentor at the Cambridge Business Development Center. His current projects include SMTP.com, investing in start-ups, and working with Jay Daniels (right) on the Blackjack Science program.
In recent television appearances, including ABC Primetime and an interview on CNN, Dukach has vowed to share his winning secrets with aspiring blackjack players. His television spots include a two-hour History Channel feature (see link below), a BBC special, and a National Geographic Channel documentary.
Dukach currently resides in the Boston area.

Semyon Dukach and Jay Daniels have combined their efforts to bring Teacher and Student together in one of the most dynamic Blackjack learning experiences ever. Dukach and Daniels bring their unique playing experiences to like-minded, aspiring card counters everywhere.

In a real-life example of "student becoming teacher," Jay Daniels rose from Blackjack anonymity to one of the most accomplished players in the Blackjack community today.
It began in 2005, when Jay attended a Blackjack Science seminar that proved to be his launching pad into the career. From there, he received further instruction from other members of the famed MIT Blackjack Team who recognized his great potential.
Over time, Daniels not only developed world-class card counting skills, but he and another playing partner perfected the two-man game of team play, including unique back counting techniques, table signaling, bet coordination, and in-session strategy variation.
Daniels wrote The Blackjack Life, a personal journey through the life of a card counter, with a focus on playing strategies for small team play. The manuscript is in the final stages of development and is expected to be released in 2012.
Outside of Blackjack, Daniels is a personal financial advisor in the Boston area. It was the many parallels between the casino world and the investment world that first drew him to the game.
When he's not burning the Blackjack tables, he enjoys golfing, philanthropy, reading, and educating others on the art and science of Blackjack.
